
Carrie-Anne Moss was born August 21, 1967 and is a Canadian actress. Following her first television appearances, she became famous for her part in The Matrix series (1999 to the present). Memento (2000) was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Supporting Role, Red Planet (2000), Chocolat (2000) and Fido (2006). Snow Cake (2006) received the Genie Award as Best Performance by an Actress In an Supporting Role. Jessica Jones (2015), 2015-2019) and Unthinkable (2010) was among her TV roles. While in Spain, Moss obtained a part in the role of Tara clerk to Judge Nicholas Marshall in the drama series Dark Justice, her first television appearance. In 1992, she relocated to the set of the show from Barcelona to Los Angeles. Moss left Dark Justice in the third and final season. She was replaced by Elisa Hingsohn in the role of Samantha Collins. She was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena following her return and was later a star on the soap opera on primetime at Fox Models Inc., a spin-off of Melrose Place, as a model. The show was cancelled in July 1995. Matrix the made-in Canada show that featured her as the lead actress and was ended in July 1995.
