Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage in 2012. Bolduan has also been a congressional correspondent based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress as well as events that occurred during her tenure as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the limit on debt for the US and discussions by the super-committee. Her work on general assignments has included reports on Christmas Day, the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. As an CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories and also produced feature-length reports for over 800 CNN Newsource members.
