Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who used to be the Fox News analyst.
She is adjunct professor of Law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. The analyst was a lawyer for the National Public Radio's radio program along with the Radio Factor of Bill O'Reilly. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning programs as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985, and an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats from the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 to 2001, she served as a tenured law professor of the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
