Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and animal rights advocate in the US. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most acclaimed films. Her family was an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in, she was recognized and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. MacGraw was deemed the top female box-office actress in the world in just three releases. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
